PC on tour

Aha. neat idea!

that bay sure comes in useful after CD’s gone!

PSU or cooling, genius!

Other shuttle case, compatible with big PSU and you can also remove some parts for better cooling.

the same size as shuttle but much better air flow concept

@lasal - super neat and will have great build quality
shame it wasn’t in store when i was buying :(
the chassis is definitely bigger than the shuttle in all dimensions (possibly even 2x the volume in total)
but then you can fit a M-ATX motherboard in such as the ASUS Gene (above)

@DiMiX
Silverstone must have been reading this thread and named it after me :)!
that looks small enough for cabin luggage / only a little bit larger than the shuttle in each dimension
Yes that cooling does look much more serious! I’m yet to see what state the shuttle gets in when it’s running hard for a long time.
M-ITX is a little hard to get mobo’s for, but he had 2 examples in the video it seemed.
i didn’t know there was any core-i7 boards that could fit into that form factor, so that’s pretty awesome
incidentally, the new shuttles are also M-ITX compatible, so perhaps could move all my existing components into that chassis if it gets too hot / want a bit more PSU

thanks all for the suggestions!
