Y Output Value / No Bang Issue

Newbie Issue :P I can connect the ‘=’ output to the IO Bang box. OR, I can connect the IO Bang to the Random Node. But not ‘=’ to Random. Confused.

Also, is there a database of all the nodes sorted by Input and Output type? Or maybe some tutorials/key concepts I missed that would clarify this for me?

Try putting a ‘framedelay’ between ‘=’ and the bang. The concept is explained in detail here
