Seems like the ‘Reader’ node cannot cope with UTF-8 coded texts. At least it has problems decoding german umlaute. Is there a way to convert the data to get the correct characters?
the reader is probably fine with utf-8 - but all tooltips, ioboxes and the text nodes will deal only with standard western imperialistic windows ANSI text. so you will have luck with german umlauts.
