Hi
can I read a shared memory which was not created by vvvv with ((sharedmemory (windows))) ?
If so how can I find the shared memory string ID?

I am trying to access a DirectDraw output.

yes, you can, but you have to “know” the “shared name”. i am not aware of a method to find out those names.
