Real time Audio Visual Performance - Opera House-

Hi everyone ,

I will be doing a Real Time Audio Visual performance for an orchestra in an Opera House .
I would like to know how to get started . This is my first time to work on something like this .

I saw before some videos for several AV performances done in an opera like this one :

But i don’t know what would be my starting point ?

Thanks for your reply .
Do i need to use the FFT for the different Sound inputs ?or something else ?
