OpenNI problem!

Hello,
I know that this question is more or less the same every time but I don’t find a right solution at my problem.
I’m trying to use the kinect device with OpenNI driver.

My system setup is the follow :

  • Intel i5
  • Nvidia GeForce GT 630 with 2gb of dedicated RAM
  • 4 gb RAM
  • Win 7 Ultimate, 64 bit(Service pack 1)
  • vvvv_45beta31.2_x86 with addonpack
  • kinect for xbox360 model 1473

With this driver installed :

  • NITE-Win32-1.5.2.21-Dev
  • OpenNI-win32-1.5.2.23-redist
  • SensorKinect091-Bin-Win32-v5.1.0.25

I don’t know why but the patch of OpenNI doesn’t work…the only is this

does the helppatch of Kinect (Devices OpenNI) report the correct drivers?

ok, a quick google shows people are having problems with the 1473 model. so it seems you have to either debug/fix the problem yourself or use the ms-drivers instead as mentioned on the kinect page.
