i am currently trying to create a patch that gives me back the current object under the cursor as in “Button (3d Mesh)” HELP, but i cannot get my way around this.
here are my questions:
whats wrong with the patch? if i copy the helpfile, everything works. if i rebuild it it is not working correctly.
how can i bring a single ode and the corresponding view box to translate +20 on the z-axis when clicked?

ok, question 1 solved by myself: the connection between the transform of the ode and the transform of the button was missing (see the attached file)
now only for question 2, which is: how can i transform the spread/object found?
looks like there can be just one file-upload per post? hmm… cannot attach another file…

I would try SetSlice (Spreads)…
