Node Info hard to find

HelpPatch

I’ve been using vvvv gamma for a while now, and often find myself trying to figure out how a particular node works.
I know that you can press F1 when a node is selected to open the help patch for that node, but most of the time, there isn’t a dedicated help patch available.
When that happens, a bubble pops up saying there’s no dedicated help patch (and suggests you can find more info by clicking on the bubble.)
I usually stopped reading as soon as I saw there’s no dedicated help patch as it’s a bit discouraging. I only noticed the “Click this bubble” instruction while recording the above GIF.

I discovered that through the Inspector, you can find info about the patches where the node is used too, but it’s also a bit hidden right now. Couldn’t those patches be listed in the bubble right away? Also, it would be great if right-clicking the node could take you to its info too. This would make things easier for beginners.

Maybe it’s just me being lazy to read so far, but when I realized I missed those infos after using gamma for so long, I thought it could be useful feedback :)

The inspector actually shows the patches in which the node is used when you click the bubble… a power feature that could be improved UX wise. At the Link Summercamp we found out that nobody has ever read that bubble, let alone clicked on it.
