Mesh join - subsets

hit me, if i’m reposting here or i’m to dumb to find the way to go, but i’d really like to see a way to create subsets with mesh (join) or vertexbuffer join.
i guess a nice bin size option counting the number of vertices/indices per subset would be cool enough.

and of course the other way round (mesh split/vertexbuffer split) would be nice too. i’ve started this with a plugin already… turns out to be a lot slower than x-file load though

afaik there is no way to create subsets inside vvvv and nobody needs to get hit ;)

the option would be very nice to have. imagine this: you could draw a single dynamically generated mesh in - gasp - different colors! #c0c0c0:(outside of the fixed pipe & vertex colors)
