hello dear ‘mathematics for vvvv’ workshop visitors,
the field of mathematics is quite complex and wide, so i wanted to ask you, what did you expect from the workshop? we have only 3 hours and i want to put in as many helpful topics as i can…
we will definetly look into some vector operations, but what else do you like to learn?
hello tutor :) tonfilm
vector operations sounds good, a little bit matrices would be also good (or do we talk in “transformer-workshop” about them)
I`m also interessted in useful workflow tricks _ with simple math-operators
Math and Data
Math and 3D_Geometries
Mathematical functions and graphs …
yes, 3hours is a short time
How to workaround camera transforms so you don’t have nasty flip on Y max and Y min, when you use Look At ;]
Also 4D NODES and how to use them properly. Anyway any good tips on how to orient and work in 3D space using 4D nodes would be just a HUGE straight forward! I’m looking on them since i layed my hands on vvvv and never actually used them proper way!
How far, how near, in or out…
(But i’m not sure i want to know the answer ;])
I would like to know a bit more on clever way of actually doing maths in vvvv. I mean a lot of it is hidden from us. I once stranded a project needing lots of triangles and Pythagoras and that quickly turned quite messy. but it might also just be me having Linear algebra to far back in my mind.
