Lock up on right click change input value

Not sure if anyone else gets this behavior, but occasionally if I click a value on a node, and drag the mouse up or down, and let go in a certain way I am getting a lock up. VVVV seems to dump a bunch of memory after about 30 seconds, leaving 8MB, and then about 2-3 minutes later the program actually disappears from the processes. If I try to end the process it says Access Denied.

Any thoughts?

happens to me sometimes, but wasn’t able to reproduce.

there was another thread where it was pinned down to a broken mouse,
but i think that’s not the whole picture.
