Indication that Update is running

sometimes when patching, nothing seems to work and you don’t really understand why until you find out that Update is not being called.

to quickly check that I usually put an LFO somewhere and put an IOBox on its phase output.

could/should there be something like an indicator in the IDE that tells you if Update is running or not? something like the clock on the tooltips maybe?

currently, you don’t really have feedback from the system appart from the nodes and IOBoxes themselves. a little indicator that could tell at glance if vvvv is alive would imo be interesting :)

Hey there,

Just wanted to bring that up again as I spent quite some time trying to understand why something was not working, to finally find out that I had to press Tab to see the actual state I was interested in.

An indicator that Update is being called in the current view would help a lot :)
