hi; looking for format recommendations for working with gis-type layers of a worldmap, in ellipsoid (3d) space.
did some tests with spherifying svg data but with the advent of vl, there may be someting more proper out there ?
Well any vector should be rasterized, also if you want high close up details you have to use lod’s, I doubt anything changed since https://developer.nvidia.com/gpugems/gpugems2/part-i-geometric-complexity/chapter-2-terrain-rendering-using-gpu-based-geometry
i mean pushing gis data to 3d such as this basic illustration
what i am mostly after is constant line thickness in perspective view
