I am still wondering why I am not able to use .gif and .tif pictures to use as fileTexture on a quad. Maybe there are some very techical reason for that. But I would really love to see that feature…
it is just that .tif and .gif are not supported natively by directx. not sure why but doesn’t give afford a license?
of course it is possible to implement a .gif and .tif loader but don’t expect anything soon here. there are many free converters that make a workaround really easy.
