DX11 Filetexture use preloaded item

is there something similar in DX11 like in DX9 Filetexture Use Preloaded Item

basically, i’m used to have a central filetexture preloader, which does updates now and then. all filetextures in the patch are set to “use preloaded item” hence show the updated texture once the central preloader updates. i cannot believe master vux didnt implement this ? :)
