I have a question concerning streaming a DirectShow VideoStream out a Firewire-Port to the Canopus ADVC 100 Video Converter.
I thought, the basic Idea would be, to connect a FileStream-Object to a VideoOut(Device) -Node.
The VideoOut(Device) seems to recognize the Box as “Microsoft DV Camera and VCR”.
But when the FileStream is connected to VideoOut(Device), playback stops, no picture, where else VideoOut(DirectShow) works allright (but not through FW, of course).
Am I doing something incredibly stupid wrong, or is vvvv just not working with the Canopus ADVC-100? The VdeoFormat is Microsoft DV in .avi
By the way, originally I planned to use four of these devices to get 4 Videos to 4 TVs. Is this possible, assuming it will work with one?
