AsColor (EX9.Texture)


could AsColor (EX9.Texture) if coded as a real node be a less CPU-hungry alternative for pipet in simple matrix style pipet setups ?

Patched as module (see attached) it is slower then pipet, but hard coded it should be faster !?

Or could pipet be recoded as a plugin, and benefit from each colour channel being processed in a seperate thread? There should be the same number of calculations per channel so presumably they will stay pretty much in sync…?
