ai cat, can you please start an extra thread for the collada problem with a simple demo that works in b27 and not/differently in b28?
after installing ffdshow i got the necessary filters to play that file with direct show. but issue seems to be the Text (EX9 Legacy) node used in the custom perfmeter patch. it crashes under dx9ex when generating some texture and when it crashes it misses to do some cleanup. thats probably the reason for the strange issues you see on your computer.
so see if using the default perfmeter or replacing the legacy text node with the normal text node works for you.
in the meantime we’ll fix that Text (EX9 Legacy) node and see that it works in dx9ex too.
