3D Mapping - Collada or not?

Hi,
I would like to achieve something similar to this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GYnH4duXiD8

So I’m wondering how do I make my 3d object look like that video? I can create the lines or rectangles, but how do I map them to travel in the direction relative to the 3d surface? Do I have to transform? That seems tedious.

First, let me tell you what I’ve done.

I’ve already built the 3d blocks physically, and I’ve also modeled them in cinema4d and exported as a .dae (Collada)which I’ve previously used in OF. But how do I apply that file to achieve what’s in the video?? I’ve used the ColladaFile Node and loaded my .dae file… but now what???

Any bumps in the right direction is greatly appreciated :)

Thanks.

I think you have to create Textures for the cubes and match your camera to the projectors view…
