When exporting a VL patch, you get a Visual Studio solution along with the executable :

There are probably existing solutions in the .NET ecosystem to obfuscate a program. I would search in that direction!
edit might have not understood you correctly, maybe you’re looking for something like beta’s dongle?
afaik there’s no such thing for gamma. maybe .NET has something existing for such purpose you could use
