VL.PJLink

started a nodeset for pjlink in vl…

unfortunately i don’t have a pjlink-capable projector at hand, so please give this a test-run and report back here or there.

Quad Menu > Manage Nugets > Commandline > nuget install vl.pjlink -prerelease

once installed, there’s ahelppatch in the helpbrowser. i don’t know why the text isn’t rendered correctly, but you can click on the empty area as shown here:

Interesting, thanks for sharing!

Regarding help patch name, I think it has to start with HowTo.

Hallo I am trying to connect to a PJlink enabled projector (Optoma ZU920TST), in the projector control panel there is Service IP field not sure if that is necessary for the connection

I have assigned to it my own IP but there is no connection and this is what is says on the manual:

PJ Link
Control the projector with PJLink v1.0 commands (Port: 4352).
For more information, please visit JBMIA PJLink.
‡ PJ Link Service: Setup the address for the PJ Link Authentication, Password, Service, and select PJ
Link Setup Apply to save the modifications.

blast from the past…

i can’t answer your very specific question @io, sorry.
no idea if it’s a bug or related to your projector.

updating the pack and also reviewing the code might be necessary.
i did a tiny update some months ago, but didn’t test it with real hardware.

but atm. i don’t have the need and no pjlink projector at hand that i can use for testing.

if you find a bug or a solution to this issue, a PR would be great!

It is actually working but for htose coming here something to note:

  • the Is Connected boolean is not reporting the connection
  • that Service IP is not needed
  • “sometime” you need to send the command a few times before it reacts
