VL patch

Hi,
I would like to create a patch using the “Tutorial Recognize hand poses.vl” patch. I want to copy and paste a sub-patch, but it’s not possible. Do you have a solution for copying or importing all the patches?

Its probably related to this… you need to also copy over the definition of the node to your patch.

Why do I get a red-colored node when copying some nodes from the examples? In this case the [FFTQueue]

Because the FTTQueue of the help patch is a process node that is not yet included in your document. Go to the document menu and you will see two entries called Application and Definitions. Imagine these two as two sides of your patch, front and back, where front is always the patch itself and the back is where you store your custom datatypes, nodes, functions etc. You will find a Process definition called FTTQueue on the definitions side of the help patch that you are copying from.
