I often come across situations where it would be super handy to be able to play back ProRes videos.
is it somehow possible?
Does anyone do that?
Alternatively, is there a 444(4) codec that works within gamma?
For now VideoPlayer (Blocking) from OpenCV works, it plays ProRes nicely-
EDIT: Although with no audio, which is a shame
EDIT 2: I will not mark this as a solution, as the OpenCV player is not the most common to use and might not be as performant as the other players.
