Text DX11 is red on some systems - 0.71 release

ello,

i have some pc’s with a freshly installed vvvv and dx11 pack 0.71 where the text node just doesn’t work and i can’t find the reason. looks like some dependency is missing but i wonder which since vvvv is not giving any hint.

anyone with an idea ?

i know its not a core or addon feature but could this dependency be added to the setup since most ppl use dx11 nowadays ?

or how could the error reporting be improved to see what is actually missing…

of course we’ll add that to setup. i’ve only just found that info. regarding improved error reporting on such issues i am afraid i’m not sure if that would be possible…

anyone with a PC that does not have that thing installed, please check latest alpha and see if setup reports correctly.

yes, latest alpha’s setup showed that the dependency was missing.

had the same problem, fresh win10 install.
