Is replace adaptive UI still correct?

It’s a small thing, but I’m working on a tutorial covering Adaptive and want to get this right:

In the gray book it says:

To choose a specific version for an adaptive node, first place the node via the NodeBrowser, then doubleclick it and remove the ‘‘Adaptive’’ choice in the lower right section of the NodeBrowser.

But when I double click an adaptive node instance in 6.0-280 I don’t have to clear the ‘adaptive’ choice, I just see the pin choices straight away.

Is it a bug? Or a bug in the documentation?
