Some time ago, I pitched the idea of having some kind of visual category in the help browser. I think this could be a really cool entry point for newcomers. Imagine them moving.

Yeah, adding a jpg as a base64 string to the document for previews is one of my favorite features that never got implemented.
loving this proposal!
newbies (and oldies) look for exactly these eyecandy. they make the product much more sexy and many things can be found visually more easily.
