When making a Path IOBox it defaults to be a File IOBox. For some time, I have just selected a file and then deleted it, when I needed a Directory path, eg. for a ImagePlayer node.

I just today learned that I can change the type to be directory (thanks @tobyk).
I would assume that it would not be the most complicated thing to make this selection by default, when creating a new IOBox by making a link from an input pin.
It would even be a desirable behavior.
