Wlan vs. ethernet cables - syncing video

hey all,

i need to sync video over 5 pcs/beamers, and thought about using wlan to get rid of the ugly cables.

but somehow i don´t really trust wlan-usb-dongles, and the installation will run for a few weeks, so i wanted to get some advice from you, trusted vvvvolks.

did someone use wlan for a similar application, and did you encounter any problems? what products did you use?

don’t do it over a wireless connection,
especially if you want to sync video.

you get far higher latency / packet transmission time than on wired connections. besides that, windows often drops the wireless connection randomly.

seriously: trust on copper not on air.
if you are ABLE to use cable, do it in anycase.
