Vvvv process persists after closing Gamma and keep hold on MIDI ports

Hello,

I was going crazy trying to understand why my controllers would sometimes not react when reopening patches a few minutes apart, and while giving it a search in the forum, stumbled upon this:

Bug: Zombie MIDI process soaks up input

When shutting down gamma when capturing MIDI, most times vvvv is still running in the background, still catching all MIDI input. I need to manually shut down the process to be able to capture input in a new gamma instance or other program. The thread has been closed since, after a year; but I confirm this is still happening in 2021.4.0

When I quit Gamma, I still have a couple of vvvv processes running, and if I had been playing with MIDI they keep the ports busy and unavailable to any new open instances if I don’t kill them beforehand.
