Cross is a super useful node, missing in VL…
I’m not sure if it’s the best way to do it in VL, but it works…
that works, but you can also put the transformation into the upper loop. no need to go out two loops and in again.
oh, yes. Far more readable.
ah and both vvvv and vl have a ready node for exactly that: in vvvv it is called GridSpread (Spreads 2d) while in vl for some reason it is called GridPoints (2d) [2d]. anyway i added the tag “cross” for both.
I missed it because of it’s name not containing “Spread”, like other Spread Generators (RandomSpread, LinearSpread…)
Could be easier to find with the “GridSpread” tag.
