Hey guys,
I already did some research about this topic but couldn’t find any solution yet. It’s not a vvvv specific question / issue.
I’m trying to get the Kinect V2 on my MacBook Pro late 2014 run. I installed Windows 8.1 (also tried Windows 8) via the latest version of Apple Bootcamp. All drivers were correctly installed (at least I don’t get any error messages). Unfortunately I can’t get the Kinect V2 (and all other USB 3.0 devices) work. I guess it’s a generally driver issue – on my OS X I got no problem to get the Kinect V2 correctly detected as a USB 3.0 device.
It seems that Windows can’t get the Kinect run, because it thinks that my MacBook only got a USB 2.0 port. I get the error message, that the port isn’t able to support the plugged in device – not enough bandwidth.
The windows device-manager shows the Kinect as a detected device. But none of the lights (Kinect) or the fan turning on.
I installed several drivers and tried out different versions of Bootcamp.
Someone told me that he saw a bunch of guys on the NODE 2015 with a working Kinect V2 on MacBooks.
Anyone an idea what the problem is or how I can fix it?
Thanks in advance.
