I’ve created a subpatch in order to use it in patches, but the inputs and outputs are not visible as pins on it. I’ve got the same problem with some modules I’ve downloaded.

you are for sure not the first user with that problem.
this sounds like a typical path issue.
when hovering that missing-pin-node you may
- be sure that the patch is not found where vvvv looked for it
2a. see the tooltip starting with C:/… you can be be sure that the path is absolute.
2b. see the tooltip starting with NameOfPatch.v4p you can be be sure that the path is relative
how ever, the tooltip shows you where vvvv expects the patch to be.
have a look at the last chapter of Subpatches and at the path-issues in _Modules_
there is another lack in documentation. I may write some tikipage about this when i have time to.
