Timeline + audio

the possibility to import audio tracks in the timeline would be nice for nrt video realization, maybe with an audio out pin so you can make audio analysis synched with the timeline values… i know there’s the filestream work around, but like this would be just cleaner

If this gets implemented then it’s be good to have the waveform visible in the timeline to help with cueing. Flash does something similar to this

every new beta i play around with it until crashes.
in no case longer than 20 minutes and nothing reproduceable.

just play around with timeliner (dll)
i notice something strange that only occur
in my patch…:
on a Value track with min=0 & max=1 offset
when the curve is set to 1 and the value pin plugged to a
change (animation) node… the change output
goes crazy (0/1)… have to put an = (value) and set the epsilon to something > to 0…
can’t reproduce this in a fresh blank patch…

crashing :

i also have some crashes with beta20…but only
when timeliner interface is open …
and when i zoom/navigate inside it
on crash…timeliner still send values and respond to automata
actions…
