Step sequencer from random spread

Hello everyone! I’m currently trying to create a step sequencer that reads the seeds of a randomspread, and I just wanted to make sure it was faesible before wasting any more time figuring it out and arguing with the patch.
I’d upload the file but I only registered yesterday and can’t seem to be able to upload attachments yet, so here’s the link to my dropbox:
I know for sure that you can use filestream and waveplayer to link the notes, but it’s the inbetween part that has me lost.
If anyone would be so kind to help me out I’d be really grateful, most functions in vvvv are still a mystery to me. xx

Check out the Stepsequencer (VAudio) in the VAudio pack

Ah cool! Cheers, I’ll give it a try, will be sure to let you know how it goes!

Hey sunep, I’m really sorry to bother you, but is there a way of isolating each point created by the random spread? I need to be able to control the point’s coordinates and connect a filestream to it.

Hi @jfreckle I have just taken a look at your patch, but I must admit that I can’t really figure out what it is you want to achieve.

Try making some comments in the patch explaining what it is you want it to do.

@sunep, no need to worry, I gave my exam this morning and got full marks! Here’s the patch I presented.
What I wanted was a version of this where I could have a spread rather than dozens of groups for each star. Thank you so much for your consideration though! xx (please note that each star requires a wav file for its musical note to play)

Congratulations on the Exam!

you should however definitely check up on spreads, that will make your life much easier:
