ShowWindow not working when in sub patch

Hi All

I am fighting quite a bit with ShowWindow (Windows) it does not put the needed window in focus when it is in a sub patch that is hidden.

when not hidden, it works when I manually activate it using the mouse in the patch window that has it, but not when it starts by itself.

note: I am using it to put focus on the Logitech control panel so I can adjust the C920 camera and I can’t use elliots image pack since I am using trautner.

any ideas on how to get ShowWindow to actually show windows?

can you please post a simple demo of this problem? i just tried myself and it works as expected.
