Proper title bar and minimize/maximize/close buttons on the editor window

Good morning all,

This was addressed already in some topics but as far as I can tell this request did not have its own space yet.

As the title suggests, could we please have a proper title bar and minimize/maximize/close buttons on the editor window?

Experiencing the following situation right now : I’m remoting on some machine that has a full HD monitor dedicated to remote control. The installation consists of multiple apps running together, and it’s kinda infuriating to always have to aim for the 1-pixel grip area on the editor window, and not being able to quickly minimize it to check some other app running on this fairly small screen.

I get the point that it can be seen as a waste of space, but other apps like Firefox or Spotify make use of it quite nicely by putting stuff in this area.

And even if can’t make use of the inline space to put tabs and menus in there, a compact one like RustDesk has would already be a massive quality of life improvement

Thanks for considering!

as a crutch: windows shortcuts do work nicely

  • WINDOWS + UPARRAOW/DOWNARROW for minimising and maximising
  • WINDOWS + M for minimizing all windows

but yeah, i totally feel you on this :)

Win + Down Arrow minimizes a window and Alt +Esc puts the active window behind all other windows but not sure how this is handled by RustDesk, AnyDesk, TeamViewer and the like.

enables the title bar with min and max buttons given a windowhandle
