I tried Pipet and it doesn’t work in /dx9ex mode. Tried it with a help patches. No dice.
confirmed for FileTexture (EX9.Texture). all others should work, right?

Yep, its only with FileTexture.
Its a great addition. Built a sort of Trautner replacement with a down-rezzed texture and it was pretty quick.
But this time around I think I was just after a few colours from a texture I think Pipet is a lot easier to set up and adjust.
as a workaround: render the texture on a fullscreenquad in a separate renderer. then take this renderers DX9Texture as input to the pipet.
