Mp3parser doesn't support album art...second-best solution?

hey all -

building a neat media player setup in vvvv little by little, but I realized the mp3parser node doesn’t support album art embedded in mp3s!

anybody with experience want to suggest the second best option?

i’d like to pull the album art jpgs locally, not have to query an internet site every time a song is loaded…

i’m guessing it would be something like:

  1. get album title from mp3 using mp3parser

  2. add “.jpg” to the end of the album title

  3. grab an image with that title from an “albumart” directory

is there a more elegant way to arrange to do this?
