Modules, FX, Contributions.. I still don't get it

I’m probably being thick here but I just struggle e.ve.ry time.

Point in case: I want to put beta28’s Keyboard(Global) (the subpatch one that takes kinda care of sloppy aka normal typing but doesn’t - somehow - work globally) into beta31. Now… Where do I put it to make it appear in the nodebrowser?

  • why isn’t Keyboard (System Global) of beta31 good enough?
  • why aren’t you using b31.2?
  • as mentioned keyboard/mouse are changing again in b>31.2 but that (again) should not cause any troubles.

if you still have a good reason to actually move an old module to a newer version (which i still doubt), just place it in your
/contributions/modules/
directory where you have
/contributions
referenced in your root.
