How should the MidiReader Node be used? It outputs a spread of of a spread bytes as a track, but I can’t tell if it is track position or note data.
The bytes range from 0 to 255 but my midi is 0 to 127 so it is a little bit confusing to compare them between my file and the midi on my track.
there is indeed no comfortable MidiReader available in vl yet…
the one that is there is for now only used internally in the MidiFile (Midi) node in vvvv. check its helppatch to see how it is used together with the MidiTrack (Midi) node.
do you want to use it in vl or vvvv in the end?
Preferably within VL. I’ll take look at the help files and the Miditrack node to see if I can extract what I need from it.
