Matrix style, grid texture?

I have a show coming up called ‘Dataflux’. Its using a projector beaming off a DMX controlled motorised mirror. I am setting up a bunch of cubes in the gallery and am going to illuminate each cube one by one with a texture that represents ‘scanning’ the room. Kind of a little bit like in the matrix movie, so a grid-like texture that scans over the cubes…

Im still new with vvvv so im not very good at textures. Can anyone think of a way to create an interesting texture for this? Id prefer to use a live generated texture in vvvv rather than cheating and using a video file…

DX9Texture (EX9.Texture) or GDITexture (EX9.Texture) can render textures. so make your grid animation in another EX9 or GDI renderer and put that on your geometies.

how do I make a good grid animation?
