what’s the purpose of Keyboard (System Window) then?

ja, that is by design. all menu-shortcuts always work on the last selected patch window. so you can e.g. save a patch while you’re in fullscreen. i see that this is probably not usefull with all shortcuts.

anyway it has nothing to do with the Keyboard (System Window) node which only guarantees that on its output it only shows keys pressed while a renderer is selected.

…and i see that this IS useful at least in some cases…
