Howto keep alpha channel through DX9texture and quad

I’m trying to get an alpha channel through a dx9texture and a quad.
But somehow the output gets transparent on the whole texture and not only on the alpha channel…
See attached screenshot.

When I connect the layer with the alpha channel (in this case from the chormakeyer) directly to the group node its all fine.

What am I doing wrong?

hello, use Blend renderstate advanced and set alpha blend to 1…

ah ok… it must be connected to the first quad, the one with alpha… see gregsns patch in this thread.
