How do I make Helpfiles for my Modules?

Okay, I am working on some use-full modules so I can threat COLOR’s the same way I can handle spreads. (basicly I separate the colors in Spread and use the spread tricks and covert them back to colors again).

Now, I have the Module Pop-Up in to my Node selection list, and I can use it like any other Node, prety cool.

I also created a help-file, so I could share it with you all.

But I cannot seem to get the Help-File to work. Actualy, I also have trouble getting other peoples help-files to work when I press F1 or sellect ‘help’ from the menu.

I must be doing something wrong, just can’t figure out what.

I attached a module and a helpfile, hope some one can help me out here.

Also, I would like to know how to add a description, in inspector for example, to my modules.

they have to have the exact name. you wrote the help-file with Caps

Okay, I renamed it, caps sensitive… that is pre-DOS!! ;)

But it still doesn’t work :(

Maybe I did something wrong with the Path?

I copied RGB_Setslice (Color).v4p to
D:\VVVV\vvvv_beta9.10\modules

and RGB_Setslice (Color) help.v4p to
D:\VVVV\vvvv_beta9.10\help

Since beta9.10 you can drop them both into the same folder.
Simply create a filepath like D:\VVVV\vvvv_beta9.10\modules\west\ and copy your files into the \west\ folder.
