can I put my files anywhere I want? when working with beta we often put the git directly into the vvvv root folder to avoid problems with relative and absolute file paths.
any feelings on that?
uhm… can you elaborate a bit on this? i read this 3 times now and don’t really understand what you’re asking.
The practice here was to clone repositories directly into the root folder of vvvv, to avoid any kind of errors when working on different machines.
“C:\vvvv\vvvv_beta_40_x64\gitrepo”
Would you recommend keeping the git repo and vvvv install always relative to each other across multiple workstations or should this be no problem?
They can be anywhere.
