GDI Texture

I guess it’s a bug, but I’m not sure…
When connecting the Info Node to a GDI Texture Node it says the display mode is r5g6b5.
If that is correct, how can I get the full screen depth of r8g8b8 then?

gdi-texture has a texture format pin (see inspektor). there you can chose a different format. chose X8R8G8B8 or R8G8B8 and have mode set to “render”.

Maybe a different preset would exclude future problems then, in case one doesn’t notice the lower bitdepth…
