Frame-precise sync of input devices

in situations where multiple input devices are overlayed, frame-precise syncronisation is sometimes necesary (ex: depth, rgb, vive)
while the feature doesn’t seem to come out of the box, as tested with kinect2 + decklink, could it be solved with timecode, as suggested in unreal forums?
or is this a job for gamma? and if so, is there a gamma decklink equivalent?

re syncing multiple input devices: yes, external timecode sync is the way to go. ie that is not software related. i don’t think the kinect2 has such an option, the azure kinect i believe does.
