Working on openVR stuff, empty scene, no problems at all getting 90fps
when I move mouse on desktop, no relation to vvvv, framerate is all over the place, is that normal? see this video:

did you tried with openvr running?
You mean SteamVR running? Yes with everything connected and tracking

Did you get your answer? I have the same issues on my PC.
did not looked, as i have lot to do and its not breaking anything but i want to test if its vr specific, and maybe boot different versions of vl install, turn of some background software etc.
