hi!

please notice that little_cat is now in v.1.6, enabling discussion in Raw UDP from vvvv to the following dmx hardware:

1 Soundlight USBDMX 1 et 2 ( Dashard.dll)
2 ENTTEC OPENDMX
3 LPTDMX ( ELEKTOR)
4 ENTTEC PRO
5 DMX512-ONLINE.NET
6 SUNLITE and others using Dashard2006.dll
7 USBDMX.COM
8 DMX4ALL
9 VELLEMAN K8062D

From v.1.5 a little option is possible to remote its opening / closing from ethernet.

An Art-net portage will be done soon to set it as a server on distant computer with low cost device.

Hope this will be usefull to anyone. ;-)

hi!

notice than enabling remote mode close the possibility to close this app thruth a Keypress.

Notice also that IF you send channels 1 2 3 4 at the ascii value of " Quit ", you will also close :-(

thats why i will surely play a bit with it on art net and pass args thruth an art-net text…

waiting a modification of ArtNet Sender node that opens the ArtNet dedicated port like a server, despite he is a client.
until this is done by our dear devvvs, you can only use artnet habilities on different computer, and not one.

for this purpose ( one computer only) consider to work in Raw UDP.

A doc in english is now included in Doc folder.

little_cat works with following dmx usb interfaces:

hi riverboat. this works with sunlite cards wich arehardware upgratedto version 10 if i remember well.
i made code in augustus 2008 for this dmx card.

lttle cat is not a kind of dll, like you would encounter in other forums, and certainly not a way to pirate sunlite /-°

little cat allows you to talk from vvvv to a sunlite dmx card, or any other software that may send an udp raw signal, or an art_net signal.

little_cat intend to save money and time for thus who already have a dmx card and may not make it work directly inside plug ins of vvvv.
