Distance-dependent PointSprite size

I’ve been fighting this for a long time, and still didn’t get it right.
What I’m looking for is a way to render nice sprites in 3d (getting smaller with distance etc)

anyone ever got it working in vvvv?

ok, got it solved kinda…
had some terrible sprite flickering on my radeon 6950, and just checked on geforce - it is perfect

im putting my gtx470 back…

another question: anyone experienced that? is there any way to fix it?

didn’t get sprites running at all on ati half a year ago. had to rewrite using quads after fighting for a day.
can’t remember the exact model though.

Hey Woei, could you show me how to rewrite the pointsprite shader using quads?
i´ve tried it but my hlsl skills are based on trial and error, and i didn´t found it.
